The first time that I had heard of leadnow.ca, was when the now passed Bill C-10 had been introduced to the house of commons. I signed, shared, and posted their online petition against it. I promoted it heavily.
In the short time since then, I have quickly realized what leadnow is truly about.
How could an organization gather thousands and thousand of signatures against a bill [nearly 100,000]. Only to have it go no where.
Then start to promote a “2 party” political system in Canada. Read more about that HERE.
They have heavy connections to the American/globalist “left” And their founders are heavy in the green movement. Pushing for agenda 21 programs in our nation.
The evidence continues to pile up. On their website they had started an online complaint form for people effected by the robocall scandal. Which would make it seem like they are trying to help the Canadians cheated out of voted last spring.
The reality:
The Globe And Mail
Elections Canada says the bulk of the 31,000 messages it’s received from Canadians concerning fraudulent robo-calls in the 2011 ballot were merely form letters.
“The majority of those contacts were made via automated forms or online form letters,” agency spokesman John Enright said Monday.
Form letters such as those generated by activist website Leadnow.ca – which encourages Canadians to submit them – do not spell out an allegation about specific robo-calls but merely raise concern about the subject.
Elections Canada refuses to say how many of the calls or emails it received from Canadians on election period calls were dedicated to reporting specific complaints of fraud or harassment.

Elections Canada [who I have no confidence in already] has had their job in investigating the robocalls/fraud. Go from hard, to harder. Because of the actions of leadnow and their supporters.
Rather than having to go through the real and valid complaints. Elections Canada must now short threw all of the leadnow generated forms. Just dragging the whole process out. And any detective or investigator will tell you that the quicker evidence is gathered, the easier it is to find the guilty party and vice versa. The longer it is drug out, the less likely it becomes to get a conviction.
Since this scandal erupted, that has been my main concern. The longer this drags out. The less that will come of it.
If we allow this to go on and on. We will be stuck with this illegitimate government, and organizations who have done more harm than good will come out looking like the “good guys”. With more and more support, giving them endless ways to help bring this country down.

@ overwhelmed: please what are you talking about??…”decent”??….” of those who decent the current illegal practices …”, …”to move from decent…” and “… their little list and away you go under “I am sure” …”. I can see why you might be “overwhelmed”, but your comment is not so clear other than “…snatch and grab…”. thanks
Jamie, sorry to say that all that Leadnow has done is divide Canadians further. Climate change is a farce as its more of a climate shift. Your American advisors should stay out of Canadian Politics as they have no business here. By your ownb admission you have just admitted that leadnow is behind the Robo-Calls as that American has ties to that douch George Sorros
I did email through the elections canada website, and the form to submit feedback didnt work, so I sent it from my hotmail account and even attached screen prints of my difficulties, along with a detailed concern about the election process being subverted in the last two elections. I’ve not received a reply yet. Since reading the above though, I’ll be trying to reach them by phone, to ensure that they’re aware I’m not a “machine”
@Jamie I think you need to do a bit of research before you blindly submit to the so called climate movement. You should find out the question to Agenda 21 and realize just what it is and how it is influencing our Government. Your heart MAY be in the right place however knowledge is power and without it your obligatory/obtuse response is meaningless. To site talking point issued to you by your movement, proves your lack of knowledge in regard to the points of this article.
If you will, maybe you would consider checking out Lord Monkton. I have found him both truthful with good intent as he does not have an agenda.
Honestly I don’t care who you have on your board if your directed outside of Canada then your directed. WTF is any foreign influence doing on our behalf. One is one to many.

With Leadnow, there is no concern that by participating in a campaign that you feel represents you on an issue puts you or your information on any secret list. I can assure you of this. The collecting of names in online petitions simply allows people like you and I to organize in a new way: it’s peaceful protest where no one is pepper sprayed!!
I know it can be challenging to to navigate groups. Marketing can warp and distort and cause us to question what is being presented, giving us good reason to suspect many things! I feel that way. But being friends with members of the team that run Leadnow, I just want to tell you that this is not the case. I hope you will continue to voice your concerns in chorus with others.
And to Terry I would suggest that delay is an unintentional result if it is one. I for one am glad there is an easy way to send my opinion, AND thankful that form letters are offered. I wouldn’t want to give the Tories a pass because I was too busy to write.
Hi Terry,
My name’s Jamie and I work with Leadnow.ca - I just wanted to respond on a few points.
“The first time that I had heard of leadnow.ca, was when the now passed Bill C-10 had been introduced to the house of commons. I signed, shared, and posted their online petition against it. I promoted it heavily.”
Thank you
“How could an organization gather thousands and thousand of signatures against a bill [nearly 100,000]. Only to have it go no where.”
The Omnibus Crime Bill was one of the new majority government’s highest priorities. When we first began thinking of organizing a campaign
We had about 50,000 Canadians in total send messages to Members of Parliament and Senators. People also wrote letters to the editor, made phone calls to MPs, and participated in petition deliveries at local MP offices, generating considerable local media attention.
Before the campaign began, there was relatively little public attention on the content of the bill (especially the mandatory sentences), and it wasn’t even clear that the NDP, Liberals and Greens would strongly oppose it (as no one wants to be called “soft on crime.”)
In the end, and in collaboration with many other groups, we helped to educate a lot of people, shift national public opinion and solidify opposition to the bill. We didn’t manage to stop the bill from passing, but we did help lay a foundation for undoing the damage that the bill will cause.
And - we have people like you to thank for that.
“Then start to promote a “2 party” political system in Canada. Read more about that HERE.”
Based on consultation with our members, we’re promoting a one-time agreement for the parties to cooperate to achieve electoral reform. Electoral reform would make sure that people could vote for the party of their choice, knowing that their vote mattered. We think this is the best way to preserve Canada’s multi-party political system, and make sure that our government better reflects a majority of Canadians.
“They have heavy connections to the American/globalist “left” And their founders are heavy in the green movement. Pushing for agenda 21 programs in our nation.”
It’s true that our founders have come from the climate movement. We have one American advisor, out of 12.
What is Agenda 21?
“The evidence continues to pile up. On their website they had started an online complaint form for people effected by the robocall scandal. Which would make it seem like they are trying to help the Canadians cheated out of voted last spring.”
There were two forms. One was a petition calling for a public inquiry and real consequences for electoral fraud. Elections Canada was cc’d on these forms, and they were clearly not meant to be complaints or reports.
The other was a form that asked people to submit any reports of electoral fraud. We collected a few hundred reports and then transferred all the data to Elections Canada in one file.
“Elections Canada says the bulk of the 31,000 messages it’s received from Canadians concerning fraudulent robo-calls in the 2011 ballot were merely form letters.”
We’ve been in contact with Elections Canada and we now know that the majority of these “contacts” did come from our petition.
We regret that this lead to a public misunderstanding once the 31,000 “contacts” were reported as “complaints.”
“Elections Canada refuses to say how many of the calls or emails it received from Canadians on election period calls were dedicated to reporting specific complaints of fraud or harassment.”
They have now reported that they have received about 700.
“Since this scandal erupted, that has been my main concern. The longer this drags out. The less that will come of it.”
I hear that. In terms of the emails that we sent to Elections Canada, we’re confident that they can filter them (99% would have the same subject line) and make it easy to separate the reports from the petitions.
We’d like to see an expedited public investigation of the evidence so that we can - as a country - quickly decide whether or not new elections are justified.
What would you think of that?
Thank you for holding us accountable.
Cheers,
Jamie

More and more I think these groups and petitions are set up to collect names of those who decent the current illegal practices in Government within Canada and the U.S.
I’m getting the feeling we are both going to move from decent to the dissident lists.
One step wrong and up pops their little list and away you go under “I am sure” the new Canadian NDAA laws. Oh yeah to late Canada agreed to let the U.S. in to snatch and grab any one of us as well. Just ask Emery.
