Hamilton Cop- Ryan Tocher Gets Cleared of Charges for the 4th Time!

Hamilton police officer Ryan Tocher has been cleared of charges for the fourth time. He is the only police officer in the whole history of the Special Investigations Unit (SIU) to be investigated three times in which he was cleared of wrongdoings every time and these incidents involved two fatal shootings and beating up a man out of mistaken identity, all three were Asian descent.

Not too long ago Ryan Tocher was under investigation by his own police services after he crashed his car into a hydro pole on Sept. 1 at 1:45 a.m., leaving 5,000 Binbrook residents without power.

To just focus on this fourth case, if a civilian would’ve crashed their car recklessly into a hydro pole and made residents go without power for a couple days they would’ve been charged of wrongdoings. That’s not even mentioning the other incidents. He keeps getting cleared of charges which is setting precedents for the Hamilton police to be able to do anything they wish without any repercussions. After all these incidents Ryan Tocher has received a job promotion.

The police are not supposed to be above the law but clearly from the actions seen in broad daylight, one can see that the Hamilton police truly are above the laws they enforce and if Ryan Tocher does not loose his job Hamiltonians can expect their policing model to continue to perpetuate the idea that cops are above the laws they enforce.

Gary Clewley is his lawyer from Toronto who has a huge track record of protecting police who do wrongdoings and helps them not get charged and if they do get charged he helps them beat the charges.

  1. Just something to point out. He was actually charged on the driving incident. The police service charged him. It was the justice system that cleared him. I know you all have a hate on for the police, but this time it wasn’t them.
