Is Lapel Cams the Answer to Saskatoon`s Taser Problem?

Since the tragic death of a teenager in Toronto by the hands of a Toronto police officer, police services across Canada are purchasing more tasers and equipping them to more officers.

Recently in Saskatoon in the Province of Saskatchewan , there was an incident with Saskatoon Police Services that involved a criminal stealing a cop car and assaulting an officer. A taser was discharged but officers are unsure if it malfunctioned or if it missed the aggressive suspect.

“We don’t know if one of the prongs missed and that’s why the weapon wouldn’t activate, or if there’s a problem with it,” said Saskatoon Police Chief Clive Weighill, discussing the Friday-night incident, which was reported by The Starphoenix on Monday.

If Saskatoon police officers were equipped with lapel cams then they would’ve been able to review videos of the incident from different angles of each individual officer that was present at the time, to see if the pongs hit or missed the suspect.

that is EXACTLY the type of shit i’m talking about frankz! yeah boy!

put them in the focus of their own bullshit.. put the spotlight on them! invade their lives.. put their life under the microscope.. and then they will see that they are NOT above the people and failed miserably at trying to be, and instead are tangled in the web with the rest of us, that they created.. they are trying to get out.. and it’s up to us to prevent their escape into their bunkers, d.u.m.b.s., mars and the moon! hahah..
