Huntsville City Council Decides To End Water Fluoridation

Huntsville Council has decided to stop putting fluoride in the municipal drinking water system. It happened in a vote of 6-2 this afternoon. This after council turned down a proposed idea of holding a public meeting on the issue in January. As of January 1st, 2013, the responsibility for clean drinking water has fallen on the shoulders of local councils and a majority of councillors were uncomfortable continuing with fluoridation.
