House says it could be used to protect an injured citizen or a police officer who is trying to get inside a perimeter where a person is using firearms.

Montreal police are stating that the vehicles will only be used when there is a chance of ballistic weapons being used against the police. This is exactly what the RCMP said when they purchased their military armoured vehicles. Yet what did we see present at the recent New Brunswick protests?

The idea of local police departments receiving military equipment at the alarming rate that we have seen in recent times should be enough for every Canadian to be raising an eyebrow!
