Although the political “left”, the United Nations and a variety NGO’s (non governmental organizations) will tell you how dire climate change is getting. They are being proven wrong by science.
On October 13 2012 the dailymail.co.uk published this article Titled: Global warming stopped 16 years ago, reveals Met Office report quietly released… and here is the chart to prove it.
“The world stopped getting warmer almost 16 years ago, according to new data released last week.
The figures, which have triggered debate among climate scientists, reveal that from the beginning of 1997 until August 2012, there was no discernible rise in aggregate global temperatures.
This means that the ‘plateau’ or ‘pause’ in global warming has now lasted for about the same time as the previous period when temperatures rose, 1980 to 1996. Before that, temperatures had been stable or declining for about 40 years.
The article also states that Phil Jones (Professor at the University of East Angola, who was in the center of the climategate scandal and forced to step down). Dismissed the significance of the plateau, saying that 15 or 16 years is too short a period from which to draw conclusions.
So lets get this straight. According to Phil Jones, 16 years of warming is enough to prove man made global warming is happening. But 16 years of no warming is too short of a period to draw conclusions that is not happening?
This seems to be a common thread in the alarmist side of the debate. Blind trust in people who have been caught being dishonest. Promoting reports that show man man global warming is happening and getting worse, while stating that creditable science that states the opposite is. Not complete enough to make conclusions on.

Mann points out that some of the world’s low lying countries, including island nations in the great oceans, are already experiencing the rise of salt water in their groundwater and in the center of some of their fields and a rapidly advancing coastal erosion.”
As many of you may know, Micheal Mann created the infamous and fraudulent “hockey stick graph”. But the alarmist keep on listening to him too. Not to mention the whole premise of the article is a direct contradiction to the above report. The ABC news piece also states:
“How soon could ocean waters be lapping at Thomas Jefferson’s memorial on the edge of the Washington Mall?
City planners in Washington, D.C. — and in most major coastal cities around the world — are asking such questions as sea level rise, which the world’s climate scientists agree is being caused by man made global warming, accelerates.”

I will usually see picture like this and just let it pass by. But I couldn’t help but to ask about the recent study that shows ice levels in Antarctica are at record breaking highs right now, and a NASA report showing that much of the ice melt off in the north, came because of a massive arctic cyclone. Changing wind patterns and a giant hole in the ozone is causing the ice to grow in the south? It is only growing because it is the polar opposite of the north?
This list of absurdities could go on and on. Lets just face it lades and gentleman. This is and has always been a political debate. Not a scientific one. Hence Al Gore’s fear mongering movie being labelled a “political film”. It is far past time to stop listening to those who ignore the facts, lie, and get caught up in fraud scandals!

Yes I would agree with some things that Chris has mentioned but no one seems too much interested in what we are doing to alter weather patterns and or precipitation through things like the spraying of Chem trails in the sky which seems to happen here in Canada and a lot more in the U.S and also mentioned about HARP possibly in conjunction with the sprayimg of chem trails in the sky as well.I do find it quite odd that people don’t even bother to look up in the sky and see these so called white trails at first but then expands into total cloud cover later on during the day!

We are still adding increasing amounts of heat-energy to the atmosphere every year. The ice is simply absorbing it by becoming water of the same temperature. It isn’t that complicated or hard to understand.
Does everyone forget 8th grade science class?
When you add heat-energy to ice, its temperature rises in direct proportion to the amount of heat-energy until it reaches 0-degrees. Then, even though heat-energy is increasing, the ice stays at 0-degrees until it has melted into 0-degree water. After completely melting, the water increases in temperature in direct proportion to the increasing amounts of heat-energy.
Ice caps have been melting and that melting ice has been capturing the increases in atmospheric heat energy. The energy has not gone to increasing atmospheric temperatures, it has been absorbed by h2o particles changing state from 0-degrees celsius solid to 0-degrees celsius liquid.
Buildings are collapsing in the Yukon, Nunavut, and Northwest Territories because they were built on permafrost that is now perma-melted. We cannot ignore that.
Well I agree that if this is happening and no real warming has taken place in 15 years or so one can conclude that this is a scam and people are really fools for believing all this nonsense about global warming! How about chem trails or HARP? No one is taking a look at this at all! All this crap that they are spraying on us if one bothers to look up at the sky on a clear day!
