I am going to start this off by saying, I am not a “freeman on the land” and I do not adhere to their beliefs. But I do find them very interesting and through my own research, have found that there is some truth in what they are trying to do. The problem is that so called “guru’s” who do not practice what they preach. Are giving people the idea that everything is all figured out. In reality it is far from that.
It seems to be an idea that like I said has validity, but there is much learning to still left to do. That learning will come through trail and error, and after a large amount of court cases.
In this Alberta case, where John Rooke ruled against a freeman on the land, and issued at a 185 page decision. Describing the movement as:
“These persons employ a collection of techniques and arguments promoted and sold by ‘gurus’ to disrupt court operations and to attempt to frustrate the legal rights of governments, corporations and individuals,” he wrote.
Referring to them collectively as Organized Pseudolegal Commercial Argument (OPCA) litigants, the judge decried their “legal and intellectual bankruptcy” and called their methods “scams” promoted by “con men.”
“The persons who advance these schemes, and particularly those who market and sell these concepts as commercial products, are parasites that must be stopped,” he wrote.
Their main technique has been termed “paper terrorism” — clogging the court system with a flurry of seemingly incoherent documents that use the jargon recommended by the movement’s “gurus.”

The case that brought this forth, was in a divorce court. Not for a by-law infraction. I could be wrong, but from what I have learned about the movement is that they adhere to common law and that by-laws, etc do not apply to them.
When people try to use these tactics in family courts and others similar to it. They are wasting the courts time. But paper terrorism? No far from that! People have been so deceived for generations, by the ruling class. So now some are undertaking the trail and error process to educate themselves and others on the truths of the legal system.
The real paper terrorism is the paper work in the legal system itself! If the courts/government opened up and told the Canadian people exactly how the legal system works. People would not be attempting this. Drop the “legalease”, the legal mumbo jumdo, and come clean with the people. And trust me, labeling people who are trying to learn how the legal system works as terrorists. Is doing nothing but exposing how tyrannical our government has really become!
