The struggle against the the corporate globalist take over in our country seems to be heating up more and more. With every day that passes.
It began with the the anti Harper movement, then the Occupy camps, and now the student uprising in Quebec. Every time increasing in numbers. Which is a great indicator that more people are becoming aware of some of the critical issues that we face today.
But regardless of how many people are becoming aware, the solutions being raised. I personally find to be very unrealistic, and also not in the best interest of the people.
Solutions like moving towards a more socialist/communist/anarchist governing system. Although I can find points in every one of those example that I agree with. Overall history has shown them to be severely flawed.
So what can we realistically push to bring some REAL change to our nation and its future?
As things like this usually are, the solution is right in front of us. It does not require a toppling of our government, violence, or even a revolution in the traditional sense. All in requires is a revolution of ourselves.
Here is what needs to be done.
1: Protesting is a great way to raise awareness, but at the same time. We find ourselves in the middle of an information war. Media spin, government/corporate tactics, etc. Can kill a movement quicker than anything else. (or turn it into a simple “fad” that only lasts a short period). And to simply put it. Has been done thousands of times, producing little if any results.
Money and control are the bottom lines to the global elite/governments. If for example with the student protests. The thousands of students who are protesting, simply walked away. Created their own education programs in their community (or a variety of other options). They became self dependent rather than government dependent. I am willing to bet the government of Quebec would very quickly reverse their stance on tuition hikes. No arrests, draconian laws, protests, violence, etc.
To simply put it. Enough begging or demanding that our government change things for us. Create the change yourself!
2: The freedoms that the last several generations of the people in North America have enjoyed come from our individual rights (right to own land, etc). We must protect these at all costs. A system run mainly on collectivist rights, is not a system that promotes freedom. Period!
3: Become self dependent in every way that you can. Although some would disagree, this is very different than the heavily promoted self sustainability. Self sustainability (a term coined at the United Nations) promotes forcibly making people adhere to what the government or U.N. deems as necessary or law. self dependance is being able to take care of yourself and family. With or without government intervention. IE: Being able to grow your own food, build or create items for trade, etc.
4: Rain in the economic madness. If we the people cannot force the government to restore the Bank of Canada, and take us out of the debt enslavement of usury. Once again simply walk away. This economic system that we find ourselves in, is not the only option. Community currencies, time based currencies, trade and barter, the options are almost endless!
5: Take the power away from private corporations and return it to the people. Sounds difficult I know. But it is actually very simple. Boycotting is great for this. If you do not like the fact that Nike is using child labor in a third world country, simply stop buying Nike products. If you do not like the idea of consuming aspartame, simply no longer buy products that contain it. If we all did this. The markets would once again be controlled by the people. Our dollars drive the economy. I know that this is a difficult choice for quite a few people. We have become accustom to the flashy new gadgets, the new fashions, etc. And the idea of not having these is not popular. But that is a false conception.
When the people control the markets rather than corporations, more innovative and creative products, clothes, etc become available. Just imagine if everyone stopped buying gas. How quickly would suppressed energy sources become available.
To sum it up. Contrary to what the power system has convinced us of. YOU hold the power! Not by protest, not by asking, not by demanding it from a government. But by simply taking what has always been and always be yours. Your freedom of choice. That no one cant take from you.
You are the master of your universe. You are the change that is needed today. You are the solution to tyranny.
