Ok, so it is obvious what the tactic employed by “law enforcement” was. Incite violence so that we have “justification” to break up and arrest people partaking in a violent protest.
Do you think that it is difficult to differentiate (for you members of law enforcement I apologize for using such big words-it means tell the difference between) between a violent protestor who is lighting a police car on fire or perhaps throwing a table through the coffee shop window and someone peacefully sitting in a park?
No, it is not a difficult task at all, even for members of law enforcement. So let’s see, do I arrest the guy who burned my car or the woman sitting in the park. Right the woman in the park. Good choice Mr. Officer you may just move up to the next level you are doing so “smashingly” well at this law enforcement stuff. At some point we might even teach you some laws but that will come much later.
So in hindsight the police tactic is obvious but it should have been expected given past instances (again my apologies to the cops–it means examples) of involving this time and again used tactic of employing (it means–using) agent provocateurs.
The solution is simple but difficult to execute (no you idiots–not putting people to death—it means to carry out).
The solution is to train and engage a CIA team. This is a team of Citizens In Action. They need to be trained firstly in the law. They also need to be trained in self defence and hand to hand combat. They also need to be trained in take down and arrest procedures.
The role of the CIA team is to protect the Charter Rights of the peaceful protesters. It is obvious that in the Canadian Police State, law enforcement will not do this.
The easiest training the CIA team needs to undergo is how to differentiate (I told you what it means above– go look there Mr. Bubbles) between a violent protester who is breaking the law and one who is peacefully exercising their Charter Right to peacefully protest.
Once the team has fully mastered this easy concept and has completed all the other training then they are ready to hit the streets and start executing (again look above for the meaning Mr. Bubbles) some citizen arrests.
The complete CIA team should have at least one “legal observer” (perhaps a lawyer), several photographers and videographers, and several members who will be doing the actual citizen arrests.
So as soon as The CIA team witnesses a violent protester commit a crime (for those of you in law enforcement this means that you see someone do something bad) they take action to perform a citizens arrest on the “individual”.
The “individual” is taken down, handcuffed (plastic zip ties seem to work well for the cops so they might work well for the CIA team) detained and turned over to the “legitimate” law enforcement team.
I would advise that the detainee be turned over to law enforcement ONLY after all possible information about their identity is gathered and recorded.
This of course is necessary because there is a high probability that the individual is a government agent provocateur.
The CIA Team seems like a drastic step to have to take in a free and democratic country but perhaps we no longer live in such a country. One bully thug G20 cop while intimidating and assaulting a peaceful protester is quoted on YouTube as saying “This isn’t Canada anymore!”
So what is it to be—The CIA Team and peaceful protests or no team and police brutality and the stripping of our Charter Rights to protest?
I know what my choice is! What is your choice?
